Gabriela is a native Austinite and has been working with CHRISTUS Health since 2004 and is serving as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services.
In 2015, the Catholic Health Association of the United States recognized Gabriela as an “Emerging Leader,” and that same year, Modern Healthcare acknowledged her as an “Up and Comer.” Gabriela is a licensed attorney, having earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
Gabriela currently serves on several boards of directors, including the Catholic Health Association of the United States, the Catholic Health Association of Texas, the Texas Hospital Association Political Action Committee, and recently on the Louisiana Hospital Association Political Action Committee. She was the former chair of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Texas Advisory Board.
Gabriela and her husband Aaron reside in Dallas with their two boys, Mateo and Tomas. They are active parishioners and parents at St. Monica’s Catholic Church and School.
