Auxiliary Bishop Gregory Kelly was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Dallas in 1982, and on December 16, 2015 Pope Francis named him Auxiliary Bishop of Dallas. He currently serves on the Catholic Charities Dallas Board of Directors. Prior to being named Auxiliary Bishop of Dallas, Bishop Kevin Farrell named him to the position of Vicar for Clergy in January 2008, and he was named Monsignor in 2013 by Pope Benedict. Bishop Kelly now serves as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, continues as Vicar for Clergy, serves as a member of Bishop Edward Burns’s Senior Staff, the College of Consultors, Presbyteral Council, Personnel Board, Accreditation Board and Deacon Advisory Council, and as a member of the University of Dallas Board of Directors.
