“Catholic Charities is thrilled to have someone of Dave’s caliber and service expertise joining our organization,” said CCD Board President Bob McDermott. “He’s a true servant leader and we believe he will do great things.”

Bishop Kevin J. Farrell of the Diocese of Dallas added, “I believe the Catholic Charities Board of Directors has done an outstanding job in selecting a proven leader such as Dave Woodyard. I know his expertise will help Catholic Charities Dallas reach even more people in need with life changing assistance.” McDermott added that Interim CEO Joe Brogdon, who was acting CEO and CFO since June 2015, will return to his original position as CFO and commended him on his efforts during the organization’s transition period.
