Many of our neighbors are facing the aftermath of the severe storms that left a trail of damage throughout North Texas earlier this week. At one point, more than half a million homes lost power. The city of Dallas says cleanup could take at least a month as power outages continue. The possibility of additional storms are on the horizon.

While life has returned to normal for some, the weather was devastating for so many others, especially those who were already struggling to make ends meet.

Catholic Charities Dallas is here, ready to help our neighbors put their lives back together in the face of disaster.

We have already started receiving calls from new and existing clients asking for help. We’re preparing to assist families with financial support for home repairs, providing temporary housing for those displaced, covering deductibles for insurance claims, and more. Our pantries are also ready to provide essential food for those in need.

If you are in need, please call us at 866-CCD-7500.

If you can help others, please give at CCDallas.org/storms.

In the book of Hebrews, God calls us to “not neglect to do good and to share what you have.”

When natural disasters strike, CCD steps in to help survivors with their immediate and long-term needs.

Please stand with us as we rebuild the lives of so many in need during this difficult time by donating right now at CCDallas.org/storms

Your support powers our mission. Thank you so much for your generosity.
