Hi, my name is Kelly Noonan, and I serve as the Chief Development Officer at Catholic Charities Dallas. Did you know that one of our 11 missions focuses on helping our clients achieve financial freedom through education?
Next Gen Wealth Academy goes above and beyond by offering specialized financial coaching sessions designed for those looking to increase their credit knowledge, better manage their debt, or even purchase a home.
Next Gen Wealth Academy is dedicated to helping emerging families and individuals change their relationship with money and create multi-generational wealth. This program offers valuable information to get anyone started on the journey to improving their credit and reducing debt.
Our team is dedicated to serving, educating, and empowering individuals and families to obtain long-term financial stability, and they do this through one-on-one financial coaching and education, HUD counseling, and providing job market counseling to unemployed or underemployed individuals. All of this is done at no expense to the client.
Every spring, our team hosts a Mega Homebuyer Event, where clients are invited to CCD to learn more about the homebuying process. When they arrive, clients receive a passport, which guides them through the homebuying professionals at the event. From bank loans to realtors to home insurance, our clients have the chance to speak with an expert at every stage of the homebuying process.
Recently, CCD partnered with Notre Dame’s Lab for Economic Opportunities. To help even more people achieve their financial dreams, we offer a free, monthly masterclass series. These Zoom classes are on topics like improving credit and the homebuying process. Our experts share information about how to increase a credit score, reduce debt, and purchase a home, but they also share more information for individuals to get involved with our financial education program, Next Gen Wealth Academy.
This masterclass is available to anyone across all nine counties of the Diocese of Dallas, and our next masterclass is on November 14.
Last year, over 1,000 clients accessed financial coaching, employment, and job skills training through Next Gen Wealth Academy. I encourage you to partner with us by supporting this incredible mission today!
- A gift of $50 provides a gas station gift card to a client who needs transportation to get to their coaching sessions or daily job
- A gift of $100 provides a monthly bus pass for a client in search of a job
- A gift of $250 provides a financial coaching session in addition to a credit report pull to help guide the conversation
Of course, a gift of any amount can be applied towards alleviating economic stressors our clients face as they work hard to balance paying their bills and saving for a down payment on their first home
