Part Time Tutor– After School Program – Cardinal Farrell Community Center Dallas, TX

Are you a good communicator and have a demonstrative instructional style? Are you nurturing and a good facilitator? Do you enjoy teaching children and have a passion for helping them learn?

Catholic Charities Dallas is looking for a full-time TUTOR to join our team . You will be working with children at our Cardinal Farrell Community Center.


You will assist students with homework and individualized tutoring. You will prepare the classrooms for each day’s activities. You will lead youth groups through daily activities, organize events, and monitor the safety of all students.


  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • One year of related work experience with youth.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer literate and experience with MS Office suite of products
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required


This is a part-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $12.00 per hour.
