Unaccompanied Children

How can you help?

Thank you for your willingness to help with the unaccompanied children!

Catholic Charities of Dallas is ready to assist in doing what’s in the best interest of the child – both in terms of treating them with respect, dignity and compassion, as well as helping them navigate the legal system.

We need volunteers

  • Attorneys, preferably who speak Spanish, who are willing to learn family court and immigration court procedures involved in the representation of these children. If you are interested in helping as an attorney volunteer, please contact Jenna Carl or Jaime Trevino at attorney@ccdallas.org.
  • Spanish-speaking non-attorney volunteers, who will assist with administrative tasks and legal screenings.

If you are interested in helping as a volunteer, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Maria Serrano, at mserrano@ccdallas.org.

Start the volunteer process by signing up online for our volunteer orientation.

We are so grateful for your care and concern for the children.  Please pray for them to be safely reunited with their loved ones.
